The Northeast Florida Safety Council has been around for over 75 years providing support to numerous businesses operating in the area. Dawn’s concern comes from personal experiences as she lost her own father to heart disease and her daughter suffers from a diet-related autoimmune condition. As a method of sharing her passion for healthy eating, Dawn created VegeCooking in 2014.
Vegecooking offers a variety of cooking classes for children, teens and adults where students can learn how to prepare nutritional and healthy meals. All meals are based upon recipes and cooking methods developed by Dawn. Dawn’s cooking classes have been well received. Dawn has developed a following of repeat students and is continually adding new classes and new students.
Recently, Dawn was approached by several of her students who want to start their own cooking schools using her recipes and techniques.
